Katie Southard (she/they) is a Certified Depth Hypnosis Practitioner and Shamanic Counselor trained by world-renowned author and founder of Depth Hypnosis, Dr. Isa Gucciardi, at The Foundation of the Sacred Stream in Berkley, CA. She is also a Reiki Master Teacher and has been practicing in the Usui-Tibetan tradition for more than 7 years. For the past year Katie has been studying with David Bedrick, founder of the Santa Fe Institute for Shame-Based Studies learning Somatic Process-Oriented Facilitation—deepening her compassionate witnessing skill and honing in on helping others liberate themselves from internalized oppressive structures (patriarchy, racism, colonialism, capitalism, misogyny etc) and shame. She maintains a healing practice in Greensboro, NC and via zoom and telephone everywhere else in the world.
She helps clients heal trauma, anxiety, fear, and doubt using Depth Hypnosis, Energy Medicine, and Applied Shamanic techniques. These processes help clients move beyond the confines of their conscious structures to access their own inner wisdom and healing tools to create change in areas of their lives they have always felt “stuck”. Clients often experience results on multiple levels: mental, emotional, spiritual and physical.
Her greatest accomplishment is birthing her son, who is now 8 years old (and being a single mom to him and his 14yo canine sister). Before moving into integrative change-work Katie owned multiple successful small businesses, including a coffeeshop, restaurant + bakery, and an investment real estate franchise. She loves helping other entrepreneurs align their inner and outer worlds to create success in both their careers and personal lives.
